In a statement filed with the Shanghai Stock Exchange on 17 Jun 2008, China Pacific Insurance (Group) Co. Ltd (601601) announced that premium incomes for the period between 1 Jan and 31 May 2008 at China Pacific Life Insurance Co. Ltd and China Pacific Property Insurance Co. Ltd were RMB 32.8 bln and RMB 12.8 bln respectively.
