On 15 May 2008 the company's shareholders Beijing Huayuan Group Co. Ltd and three other companies, with total shareholdings of over 3% of the company, allied to submit to the board of directors two interim proposals to nominate Zhang Dongning as a member of the board of directors and Shi Yuan as a member of the board of supervisors and to further revise certain items in the Articles of Association of the company. The board of directors approved to submit the two proposals to the 2007 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders for examination, and other issues regarding the 2007 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders remain unchanged.
