Headquartered in Baoding in Hebei Province, the company's main products include thin polyethylene (PE) film, polyvinyl chloride (PVC) pipe, PVC profiles, PVC resin, caustic soda, plastic and iron windows and doors and packaging film. The company's annual production capacity exceeds 1.5 million tons of soft packaging materials, plastic building materials and agricultural plastics and one million tons of chemical materials. In 1998 Baoshuo was listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange as a key company in Hebei province. The company operates five branches and has ten subsidiaries.
