Shenzhen Development Bank was the first commercial bank in China to list publicly, as well as the first to have an overseas enterprise as its largest shareholder, namely Newbridge Capital LLC. Shenzhen Development Bank has over 230 branches in 18 cities, offering integrated products and services including wealth management, personal loans, automobile finance and credit cards through its nationwide network.

Newbridge Capital LLC is one of the largest private investment firms in Asia, with USD 1.7 bln in assets under management. Its key shareholders include GE Investment, the World Bank, Metropolitan Life Insurance and the Singapore Investment Fund.
