Cui Ruoyu, general manager of China Datang Corporation, has said in an interview with China Securities News that Datang Corporation will become one of the global top 500 enterprises by 2010 at the latest, and will probably accomplish it by 2009.

As Datang Corporation will be making a big investment in additional power generating units, Cui says that the company has a financing plan that will meet capital expenses of over RMB 12 bln, and it is also possible that Datang International Power Generation Co. Ltd would seek refinancing.
