According to a notice received after the close of trading on 26 Nov 2008 from, Ma Steel (Group) Co., Ltd. (MSG), the controlling shareholder of the company, announced that it had increased its holding in the company by 39,097,851 A-shares with its acquisition of 13,760,000 A-shares on 21 Sept 2008. Following the acquisition, MSG holds 3,883,417,851 A-shares of the company, equal to a 57.46% stake.

MSG plans to continue to purchase A-shares of up to 2% stake in the company via the Shanghai Stock Exchange and commits not to sell any of its holding in the statutory period.
