New Cement Production Gains Environmental Verification

The company recently received a notice from the State Department of Environmental Protection (SDEP), stating that the company's 2008 projects financed with funds raised via private placement passed the environmental verifications by the SDEP on 13 Nov 2008. Detailed information of these projects are as follows:

A new dry-process cement production line with a daily output of 3,000 tons in Longnan will be completed and put into production before the end of 2009; a 4.5MW pure low temperature waste heat power generation project in Pingliang is currently under construction; and a new dry-process cement production line with a daily output of 2,500 tons in Qinghai will be completed and put into production in April 2008.
