Shijiazhuang Dongfang Thermoelectric Co. Ltd is a state-owned company specialising in cogeneration and central heating supply. The company provides heat supply to 14 million homes and provides services to more than 400 industrial and commercial e nterprises and government institutions in the metallurgical, chemical engineering, machinery, paper making, cotton spinning, printing and dyeing industries. The company owns 48 boilers of various types, with an overall evaporation capacity of 1981 ton/hour. The company also operates 18 different electric generating sets, with an installation capacity of 148 megawatts and a 256 kmof heat distribution pipeline. Additionally the company has two cement production lines with a daily output of 2500 tons, one cement production line with a daily output of 5000 tons as well as a coal ash baked brick production line.
