Subsidiary Paid-in Capital: RMB 945 Mln

Pursuant to an investment agreement signed on 20 Dec 2007 between the company, Sichuan Investment Group Co., Ltd., and Sichuan Minjiang Hydropower Co., Ltd. regarding Chengdu Xinjin's polysilicon project with a 3,000 tonne annual capacity; each of the aforementioned parties recently injected capital into Tianwei Sichuan Silicon Co., Ltd.

Following the injection, both the registered capital and the paid-in capital of Tianwei Silicon will be RMB 945 mln, of which the company invested RMB 481.95 mln, equal to a 51% stake.

Additionally, Chengdu Xinjin Administration for Industry and Commerce has approved the relevant registration transfer procedures for Tianwei Silicon.
