On 31 Oct 2008, the company signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with the Sichuan Deyang People's Government.

The company plans to set up a factory for the manufacture of light trucks (including technical vehicles), with an annual production capacity of 100,000 units. Construction of the factory will commence at the beginning of 2009 in the Sichuan Deyang Economic Development Zone, with a total investment of RMB 800 mln.
