At the 30th Meeting of the 4th Board of Directors, held on 28 Oct 2008, the following proposals were examined and approved:

1. to provide a two-year joint liability guarantee on a RMB 30 mln working capital loan with Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Tongling branch for Anhui Tong'ai Electrical Materials Co., Ltd., in which the company holds a 75% stake

Tong'ai plans to provide a counter-guarantee for the company. To date, the company has provided guarantees totaling RMB 176.7 mln for its subsidiaries (excluding the above guarantee). There are no guaranteed loans in arrears.
