According to relevant resolutions of the 2007 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders, the related-party transactions pertaining to power coal procurement will be less than RMB 500 mln in 2008. As of 30 Jun 2008, the transactions had totaled RMB 366.38 mln.

In Consideration of soaring coal prices, the company plans to raise the upper limit on the transactions for 2008 by between RMB 200 mln and RMB 700 mln. Pertinent proposals have been approved at the 24th Meeting of the 5th Board of Directors, however, the proposals are still subject to approval by shareholders.
