Beijing Gehua CATV Network Co.,Ltd. was approved by the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission, and is the sole network operator in the Beijing municipality for the roll-out and maintenance of cable television networks, including the management of acceptance and transmission of television programming and network information services for radio and television. The company has installed cable television systems in 18 districts and counties totalling some 2.7 million subscribers and provides users with broadband Internet access service.
