China Vanke Company is mainly engaged in real estate development and management, and operates its businesses in 18 large and mid-size cities across China with a focus on the Pearl River Delta, Yangtze River Delta and Bohai Rim region. In 2007, Vanke had a development scale of 8.9 million square metres as well as an estimated construction area of 10.74 million square metres which realized its land reserve plan for the year 2007.

Vanke, established in 1984, was one of China's first listed enterprises and is recognized as one of 'China's Most Respectable Enterprises' and 'The Best Citizen Enterprise in China'.
