At the 42th Meeting of the 5th Board of Directors, held on 21 Oct 2008, a proposal was examined and approved to extend the term of a joint liability guarantee provided on a RMB 30 mln loan for XJ Electric Co., Ltd. with Bank of Communications, Zhengzhou branch for an additional year.

Including the aforementioned guarantee, guarantees provided by the company and its subsidiaries total RMB 422 mln, of which a total of RMB 30 mln were provided for subsidiaries. There are no guaranteed loans in arrears.
