Wuhan Steel Processing Co. Ltd. is the second largest listed steel company in China. The company is controlled by Wuhan Iron and Steel (Group) Corporation and is engaged in the production of iron, steel and rolled steel. It manufactures products in seven major categories and of over 500 varieties but its main products are cold-rolled sheet and cold-rolled silicon steel. The company has a production capacity of 10 mln tons of steel annually.

More than 100 of its products have been awarded national, provincial and/or departmental quality product certificates. The company's silicon steel is recognized as the most influential brand name in the Chinese steel industry and its heavy rails and profile boards are the leading brand names in Hubei Province. Thirty-nine of its steel products have garnered gold awards from the metallurgical industry. Wuhan Steel ranks among the top 50 of China's listed companies and among the top 20 for overall economic performance. It is also one of the ten largest companies by market cap on the Shanghai and Shenzhen stock exchanges.
