At the 29th Extraordinary Meeting of the 3rd Board of Directors, held on 10 Oct 2008, a proposal was examined and approved to provide a joint liability guarantee on a six-month RMB 35 mln working capital loan for Jiangxi Huiren Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. with Agricultural Bank of China, Nancang branch. Jiangxi Huiren Group Marketing Institute for Chinese Medicine Co., Ltd. will provide a counter guarantee for the loan.

As of the date of this announcement, the company has provided external guarantees totaling RMB 384 mln, of which RMB 225 mln are for subsidiaries. There are no guaranteed loans in arrears.
