According to a notice received from China Minmetal Group Co., Ltd., the controlling shareholder of the company which previously held a 63.4% stake in the company, on 13 Oct 2008, it purchased 1,000,041 shares of the company at RMB 13.45 per share via the trading system of the Shanghai Stock Exchange, thereby boosting its holding to 63.5%.

Minmetal Group plans to continue to purchase up to 1.9% equity in the company through the secondary market, in its own name or through persons acting in concert with it, within the next 10 months as of the date of the acquisition, and commits not to sell its holding during the statutory period.
