According to preliminary data, from 1Jan 2008 to 30 Sept 2008, Gezhouba Hydropower Station, a subsidiary of the company, cumulatively generated approximately 12.906 bln kWh of electricity, a 8.37% YOY increase, and the Three Gorges Hydropower Station generated approximately 60.558 bln kWh of electricity, up 29.36% as compared to the same period in 2007, during which 20.935 bln kWh was alloted to the company (a 5.52% YOY decrease). Pursuant to allocation principles under an Asset Management Agreement signed between the company and China Three Gorges Project Corporation, in the first three quarters of 2008, the company generated a total of 33.841 bln kWh of electricity, down 0.66% as compared to the same period in 2007.
