The company was notified by its controlling shareholder, Xinhu Holding Co., Ltd., that 29,465,000 shares in the company were released from pledge by Zheshang Bank Co., Ltd on 7 Oct 2008, and 28,675,890 shares were subsequently pledged to the same bank.

Currently, Xinhu Holding holds 110,493,993 restricted shares of the company, of which 109,704,883 are pledged.
