According to preliminary data, the company may have suffered RMB 18 mln in losses from 1 Jan 2008 to 30 Sept 2008, compared to the same period in 2007 when net profit was RMB 48,111,797 and EPS was RMB 0.14.

The weak performance is mainly attributable to the sharp decrease in equity investment earnings of Zhuhai Huadian Investment Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the company.
