6,419 Shares Converted in 3Q 2008

By closing on 26 Sept 2008, RMB 1.25 bln 'Gehua Convertible Bond' (stock code: 110037) were converted to tradable shares, of which 6,419 shares were converted in the third quarter of 2008. Accumulated shares converted from bonds have totaled 100.75 mln shares, equal to a 9.5% stake. At present, there are RMB 2.7 mln worth of 'Gehua Convertible Bonds', equal to 0.22% of the total outstanding convertible bonds yet to be converted.

As a result of the conversion, the company's total shares outstanding has increased to 1,060,185,477, of which 44.98% are restricted shares and 55.02% are tradable shares.
