Pursuant to resolutions of the 2007 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders, the company will provide a one-year RMB 30 mln loan guarantee for West China Coking & Gas Company Limited, with Shenzhen Development Bank, Kunming branch.

The company holds a 54.8% stake in West China Coking & Gas.

As of 27 Aug 2008, guarantees provided by the company for its subsidiaries totaled RMB 600 mln. There are no guaranteed loans in arrears.
