Huayi Compressor Co. Ltd is engaged in the manufacture and marketing of fluorine-free compressors, refrigerators and accessories and is the first domestic company to have a fluorine-free compressor production line with an annual output of one million units. In the early 1990's, through introduction of the latest fluorine-free technology from US-based Tecumseh Products Co. and modern equipment from Japan, Germany, Italy, Australia, Denmark as well as other countries, the company became a market leader in the development and production of environmentally friendly products.

Huyai was the first domestic company to replace R12 refrigerant with R134A and launched the first fluorine-free refrigeration compressor. The company is the largest enterprise in its industry, with a market share more than twice that of its nearest competitor in China.
