Aluminum Corporation of China Ltd is the largest aluminum oxide manufacturer in China and the second largest in the world. It is also the largest virgin aluminum manufacturer in China. The company is mainly engaged in the manufacture and sale of aluminum oxide and aluminum electrolysis products. It has 10 branches, one research institute, and 12 major wholly-owned subsidiaries and its credit has been rated BBB+ by Standard & Poor's. In 2001 Aluminum Corp. of China was listed on both the New York and Hong Kong Stock Exchanges. Following a merger with Shandong Aluminum Corporation and Lanzhou Aluminum Co. Ltd, the company was listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange and became one of the only companies in China to be listed in New York, Hong Kong and Shanghai.
