At the 15th Meeting of the 3rd Board of Directors, held on 16 Sept 2008, a proposal for Western Mining Group Co., Ltd. to put forth an interim proposal to elect Wang Yi as a member of the 3rd Board of Directors for the 1st 2008 Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders was examined and approved.

Western Mining Group has adopted the recommendation and submitted the proposal to the board of directors and the convener of the 1st Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders. As a result, the board of directors has decided to postpone the 1st 2008 Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders to 26 Sept 2008, at which the interim proposal and a proposal to apply for short-term financing bonds will be examined and considered for approval.
