Xining Special Steel Co. Ltd is mainly engaged in the smelting and mangling of special steel. The company holds 370 million tons of iron ore resources and 640 million tons of coking coal resources. It is the largest special steel producer in northwest China, producing 1.2 million tons of coking coal, 350 thousand tons of coal, 3.2 million tons of selected iron ore, 1 million tons of fine iron concentrate, 1 million tons of iron, 1.3 million tons of high-quality steel and 1.2 million tons of steel products annually.

Xining Special Steel Co. Ltd manufactures eight categories of products, including carbon structure steel, carbon tool steel, alloy structural steel, alloy tool steel, bearing steel, spring steel, mould steel and stainless steel. Its products are mainly used in the military, automobile, railway, aviation, petroleum oil, coal and other industries which require special steel.
