At the 14th Meeting of the 3rd Board of Directors, and the 12th Meeting of the 3rd Board of Supervisors, both held on 28 Aug 2008, the following proposals were examined and approved:

1. to set aside every provision possible for asset impairment for 1H 2008
2. the 2008 Semiannual Report and its Abstract
3. to revise the Articles of Association of the company
The proposal must be submitted to a forthcoming general meeting of shareholders for examination.

4. to donate stainless steel and color-coated sheets worth RMB 4.5 mln to Chinese Antarctic Inland Summer Science Station and to donate frontier defense embroidery covered with colored sheets worth RMB 3.5 mln to frontier guards stationed on Heixiazi lsland
5. to donate RMB 27.38 mln for the construction of environmental monitoring and management systems of the New Environmental Monitoring Center in Baoshan District
