At the 6th Meeting of the 5th Board of Directors and the 3rd Meeting of the 5th Board of Supervisors, both convened on 21 Aug 2008, the following proposals were examined and approved:

1. the 2008 Semiannual Report and its Abstract
2. management rules on raised funds
3. to increase the registered capital of China Pacific Insurance Asset Management (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd., a joint venture established by the company and China Pacific Insurance Asset Management Co., Ltd., from HKD 35 mln to HKD 50 mln
HKD 24.5 mln of the HKD 50 mln will be borne by the company, in return for a 49% stake, while HKD 25.5 mln will be borne by China Pacific, equal to a 51% stake.
