Related-party Transactions Rules to be Revised

At the 1st 2008 Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders, held on 20 Aug 2008, the following proposals were examined and approved:

1. to revise the Decision-making Rules for Related-party Transactions
2. to retain Ernst & Young Certified Public Accountants as the company's overseas auditors and to request a general meeting of shareholders to authorize the board of directors to decide on the auditors' remunerations
3. to revise the Articles of Association of the company
4. to revise the Rules of Procedure for General Meetings of Shareholders
