On 19 Aug 2008, Anhui Golden Seed Group Co., Ltd., the controlling shareholder of the company, announced that it has pledged its 44 mln shares of the company for three years to guarantee the company's up to RMB 110 mln in loans with Agricultural Bank of China, Buyang Yingquan sub-branch.
