Subsidiary Announces Profit Distribution Scheme

On 2 Aug 2008, Qinghai Energy Resource Development Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Xining Special Steel Co., Ltd. announced its profit distribution scheme and capital increase for 1H 2008.

According to the scheme, Xining Special Steel will receive cash dividends of RMB 42 mln, which will subsequently be used to increase the registered capital of Qinghai Energy.
