On 18 Jul 2008, the company received a notice from China Machinery & Equipment International Tendering Co., Ltd. stating that it had won a bid for the 109,500 kW wind power generators of the 200,000 kW wind power project in the Gansu Jiuquan wind power base. It will purchase 73 sets of GW77-1500 wind power generators for RMB 701 mln, which will be delivered between 2009 and 2010. Meanwhile, Sinovel Windtec Co., Ltd. will provide the wind power generators for the remaining power.
