Company Produces 20,000 Blue Engines

On 1 July 2008, the company's 20,000th Blue Engine series engine which meets the National III standard was produced. Meanwhile, the company announced that it has successfully developed high-power engines which meet the National V standard.

Diesel engines of the Blue Engine series WP10/WP12 which meet State III, IV and V standards are being jointly developed by the company and several internationally known companies including AVL in Austria. These engines have independent intellectual property rights and are environmentally-friendly flagship products. The company has supplied 20,000 Blue Engine series engines to the market since July 2006.

Shaanxi Automobile Group Co., Ltd. is one of the earliest Blue Engine-equipped automakers and started mass production in 2007.

Blue Engine series are of the new generation of the company's products, which have been used by many domestic heavy truck depots and bus producers. Complete autos equipped with Blue Engines are exported in mass quantities to Russia, the Middle East and South Asia.
