China Railway Wins new Contracts worth RMB 6.84 bln

Recently, the company's subsidiaries China Tiesiju Civil Engineering Group, The Third Engineering Group of China Railway, China Railway Tenth Group and China Raiway No.2 Engineering Group, have respectively won bids for sector HNCJZQ-1, sector HNCJZQ-2, sector HNCJZQ-3 and sector HNCJZQ-8 of Shanghai-Nanjing Inter-city Rail Traffic Pre-station Project. The total tender price is approximately RMB 6.84 bln, which is 3.82% of its 2007 main business revenue under Chinese accounting rules.

On 7 July 2008, the company said it had received three Letters of Acceptance. Investment on the underlying projects is RMB 2.95 bln. Two awarded items of work have totaled over RMB 900 mln.
