The company received a notice from the National Development and Reform Commission stating that the domestic on-grid power tariff will increase as of 1 July 2008, following which, it increased its on-grid power tariff (value-added tax included) by RMB 16 per mWh in the northern regions of Hebei Province, RMB 16.8 per mWh in the southern regions of Hebei Province, RMB 9 per mWh in the western regions of Inner Mongolia, RMB per 10.3 mWh in Beijing, RMB 11.6 per mWh in Tianjin, RMB 11.7 per mWh in Liaoning Province, RMB 21.2 per mWh in Zhejiang Province, RMB 15 per mWh in Shaanxi Province and RMB 26 per mWh in Guangdong Province.
