RMB 4.5 Bln Bid for Wind Power Projects Won

On 14 July and 15 July 2008, the company received six bid notices from China Machinery & Equipment International Tendering Co., Ltd. stating that the company has won bids for the purchase of 702,000 kW wind power equipment projects for a total of RMB 4.5 bln. The equipment will be delivered in 2009 and 2010, of which the company will negotiate with the project owners and sign contracts in the near future.

It is known that the 3.8 mln kW wind power projects of Gansu Jiuquan wind-power base were put up for auction on 20 June 2008, of which 3.2 mln kW (17 projects) were won on 14 and 15 July 2008. The bids won by the company are part of the above-mentioned 3.8 mln kW wind power projects.
