Flat Panel Television Sales Soar in June

Through nation-wide marketing and promotions, such as inviting Olympic champions to give autographs on promotion sites, the sales volume of the company's flat panel TV sets surpassed 80,000 units in June, with a sales revenue of over RMB 500 mln, which is nearly triple the company's sales revenue for the same period in 2007.

The company said that the current fervent buying spree brought about by its 'champion sign-and-sell' scheme is far beyond its expectations. Flat panel TV sales volume for June 2008 increased 36% from May 2008, which is equal to a 181.8% YOY increase. Sales of its high-end series i-sport HDTVs have also increased substantially, as over 10,000 sets have been sold on promotion sites.
