In June 2008, the company completed cargo throughput of 5.2 mln tons, an increase of 11.4% when compared with the same period in 2007. Chiwan Wharf and the Mawan Wharf completed a combined total container throughput of 493,000 TEU, an increase of 4.2% when compared with the same period in 2007, of which the Chiwan Wharf completed 355,000 TEU, an increase of 4.4% YOY. However, the two wharves only completed a total bulk cargo throughput of 551,000 tons, a decrease of 4.5% YOY.

Consequently, as of 1H 2008, the company had completed cargo throughput of 31.85 mln tons, an increase of 12.6% when compared with the same period in 2007. Chiwan Wharf and the Mawan Wharf have completed a combined total container throughput of 3.05 mln TEU, an increase of 9.1% when compared with the same period in 2007, of which the Chiwan Wharf had completed 2.17 mln TEU, an increase of 7.0% YOY. However, the two wharves have completed a combined total bulk cargo throughput of 3.9 mln tons, an increase of 12.2% YOY.

As of the end of Jun 2008, there were a total of 63 international routes, on which container liners, calling at the aforementioned wharves, sailed.
