According to a letter of commitment received on 3 Jul 2007 from Harbin Aviation Industry Group Corporation, the company’s controlling shareholder, Harbin Aviation has offered to extend the lock-up period on 168,856,523 of the company’s restricted shares which it currently holds, equal to a 50.05% stake, for two additional years beginning from 24 Aug 2009. The lock-up period in the original commitment was from 24 Aug 2006 to 24 Aug 2009.
