50% Net Profit Increase Projected in 1H 2008

According to its preliminary estimates, the company’s net profit for 1H 2008 is projected to have increased by more than 50% over the same period in 2007, when net profit was RMB 40,844 mln. Detailed figures related to these matters can be found in the 2008 Semiannual Report.
