Effective Period of Tango's Offer Extended

On 1 Jul 2008, Tango Mining, jointly established by the company and PT An-tam Tbk, announced an extension of the effective period of its offer of AUD 2.80 for all of the shares of Herald Resources Limited from 1 Jul to 8 Jul 2008 at 5:00 pm, Perth (Australia) time. There are no other conditions in its offer.

On 25 Jun 2008, Bumi, Tango's competitor, also announced its offer of AUD 2.80 for all of the shares of Herald Resources Limited effective to 3 Jul 2008.
