Baosteel Group Co., Ltd., the controlling shareholder of the company, recently informed the company that Guangdong Iron & Steel Group Co., Ltd. was founded on 28 Jun 2008 with a registered capital of RMB 35.86 mln, of which Baosteel Group Co., Ltd. invested RMB 28.688 mln in cash accounting for an 80% stake and the State-owned Assets Supervision Administration Commission of Guangdong and the State-owned Assets Supervision Administration Commission of Guangzhou jointly invested RMB 7.172 mln accounting for a 20% stake using the state-owned net assets of Shaoguan Iron & Steel Group Co., Ltd. as well as that of Guangzhou Iron & Steel Enterprise Group.
