The company has recently formed a preparatory team for its wind-driven generator blade project, which will mainly take charge of research and production of blades used for MW-level generators.

With imported production equipment and technology from SSP in Denmark, the company's first 1.5 MW generator blade with complex material will be completed. The blades produced by SSP with the same technology have earned GL certification.

The company explained that the first blade to be finished will undergo additional testing, and uncertainties remain regarding the terms of production volume and production capacity. The product will not materially alter the company's 2008 profit.
