On 20 June 2008 the company issued a statement stating that it will increase the price of its products in August by RMB 200 to RMB 400 per ton, due to the increasing difference in steel price of steel in the domestic and international markets and increasing production costs due to a coke price hike.

Analyst have said that the company will further increase its steel price, which will definitely affect the domestic market.
